James Harden is one of the best offensive players in the NBA today and NBA history, his recent scoring streak backs up and validates that very statement along.

Harden’s Rockets started the season not so good and not living up to the championship aspirations they had coming into this season. From various injuries to star point guard Chris Paul, Eric Gordon and others to losing vital parts of their team like Trevor Ariza and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute has made the season challenging. Harden has simply carried the load and has put up out of this world numbers.

Averaging 36, 6 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game so far this season Harden recent run from December until today has been insane. Harden’s scoring run goes like this, 19 straight games of 30 + points, 3 games of 50+ points, 12 games of 40+ points and 163 unassisted points in the last 3 games the most since Kobe Bryant in 2007 with 175 points.

The question now becomes can Harden continues this offensive display deep into the playoffs without getting injured or worn down. Maybe the offensive load will lighten up when Chris Paul returns and Eric Gordon gets back on track to put the Rockets back in title contention.

However the rest of the season ends you have to simply enjoy Harden’s performance which could lead to back to back MVP awards, regardless if you agree or disagree with his “crafty” ways of scoring is impressive none the less.
