With the first round of the playoffs out of the way and had a ton of excitement and surprise performances leading us into the second round where these match ups could be potential finals caliber games, so here are my predictions for round two of the playoffs.

Eastern Conference

#1 Miami Heat vs. #4 Philadelphia 76ers: This match up will be the Jimmy Butler revenge series. The Heat coming off an impressive 4-1 series win over the Hawks will against the Philadelphia 76ers who are coming off an intense six game series against the Toronto Raptors but could be facing a tough match up with sixers center Joel Embiid is out indefinitely with an orbital injury. With Embiid out potentially for this series I am taking the Heat to win this series in 5 games.

#2 Boston Celtics vs. #3 Milwaukee Bucks: Celtics vs. Bucks could be an NBA finals series with all the explosive talent and possibilities. This series could decide who comes out of the eastern conference probably and despite the exceptional play of the Jayson Tatum and the Celtic defense in round one this should be the series where Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo takes over and leads the Bucks to win this series in seven games.

Western Conference

#1 Phoenix Suns vs. #4 Dallas Mavericks: This series could swing either way considering both teams has seriously injured stars with Devin Booker of the Suns and Luka Doncic of the Mavs. The Suns had a little scare in round one against the annoying New Orleans Pelicans while the Mavericks eventually pulled out the series against a demoralized Utah Jazz, although I am high on Luka Doncic but despite his efforts it simply will not be enough to overcome the Suns who wins this entertaining series in 6 games.

#2 Memphis Grizzlies vs. #3 Golden State Warriors: This is a potential upset series with the Golden State Warriors finding their stride after beating a diminished Denver Nuggets take on a young up and coming Memphis Grizzlies team who survived an entertaining series against the Timberwolves. Although there is a ton momentum and support for the seasoned Warriors, but I am going to go with young upstart Grizzlies to stand their ground, hang tough and beat the Warriors in an intense seven game series.

Round two starts tomorrow and should be exciting, so sit back, relax, and consume some more great basketball this weekend.
