The NBA all-star game wasn’t exciting for me this probably because I felt they should declined to have it for safety reasons and cramming everything into one night made it felt so rushed as well but it had desired result and now we move on the 2nd half of the NBA season where things hopefully shake up and become clearer as far the playoffs are concerned so here are a few things I hope happen in the 2nd half of the season.

Can the Utah Jazz continue to be for real?  Will the Jazz continue to contend in as the Western Conference elite? My answer is yes especially if they remain healthy and together as this team reminds of the 2014 San Antonio Spurs with the way the team is build which making them very serious contenders against the Lakers, Clippers and Nuggets.

Will the Nets win WITHOUT a quality Center?  Despite their success so the Brooklyn Nets are winning games but are lacking up front at the Center position. DeAndre Jordan isn’t getting younger or better and signing Blake Griffin rises the profile of the team but will rise the team’s defenses skills to win a title? The answer is no when they say should of waited on Andre Drummond or JaVale McGee’s contract situation to see if they were free to pick up as rim protectors instead of signing Griffin.

The Real Contenders! As much of a story the New York Knicks have been to start the season, their second half schedule looks to bring them down to earth and open the door some of the more realistic contenders in the eastern conference like Miami, Toronto and Chicago.
