With the NBA offseason underway and the season starting next week, there is a lot to be excited for this holiday season with accelerated offseason model. This piece is going to be some of my predictions on upcoming 2020-21 season where all of excitement awaits us and hopefully some old fans come back at what maybe the right time for the NBA.

Luka-mania: WHAT CHA GONNA DO WHEN LUKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU?! Yes, my Hulk Hogan reference could not resist there when it comes to Mavericks mega star Luka Doncic upcoming season where he should an odds-on favorite for regular season MVP. Doncic last season before and during the bubble was amazing showing he was entering into a particular stride or prime that will be exciting to watch if you a Mavericks fan or basketball fan in general which is why I am rolling with Doncic being a runaway for MVP this season.
As the Beard turns: This was going to be a separate piece, but I decided against it, Houston quickly has become a disaster of special proportion, and elite star James Harden has not been a happy camper to say the least. Harden has been rather vocal about leaving but the questions are where will he go? And where will he fit best?

Prior to the John Wall/Russell Westbrook trade the answer were one team the Philadelphia 76ers and one players Ben Simmons but now that’s not so likely, Brooklyn is just simply a disastrous fit and idea so where does fit in? Well, there are a couple of new options coming alive recently with the Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks.

Out of those choices the best option would be the Raptors (Not being a Homer here!!!) but if it means trading star big Pascal Siakam to do then it is not worth doing so if you are the Raptors personally. So, the only choice mid-tier or low tier teams like the Bulls who have pieces and a big contract to send to Houston like Zach LaVine, Otto Porter, Lauri Markkanen and picks to land Harden work that young group and coach Billy Donovan and then lure another star to compliment him and build there, but we will see what happens in this soap opera.
