My 5 Rather Unique Predictions

  1. Dejounte Murray gets traded: Well, let’s get into these predictions with a wild one being the Atlanta Hawks will trade guard Dejounte Murray to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Karl-Anthony Towns! That’s right Minnesota finally moves on from Towns and finds a team that will gladly take him in the Hawks who will have a decent duo in Towns and Trae Young certainly but more importantly the wolves will finally have a point guard to compliment star Anthony Edwards and balance that roster out. If this trade happens it will be around the holidays or New Year’s Day.

2. Wembanyama DPOY? Yes, I predict Anthony Davis to win defensive player of the year but there is a strong possibly Victor Wembanyama could win the award. His defensive performance in the preseason has people buzzing that this could happen which I would not be surprised by the possibility of Wemby rookie of the year and defensive player of the year together.

3. Harden will help the 76ers: With all the chaos and drama surrounding James Harden and the Sixers currently would lead us to believe that this is going to end badly, but I am predicting that this will all be for nothing. As time goes on and the season is underway, I think Harden with sacrifice and become professional by coming back to help this Sixers team get back into the playoffs and push for the conference finals improving his very low trade value at the moment.

4. Ben Simmons returns to form! This next one I hope really happens and that is Ben Simmons returns to his prior potential all-NBA form he was before everything went sideways these past couple of seasons. That is quite possible with this Nets team that is going to be looking for people to step up in big roles to support guard Mikal Bridges while giving this franchise and fanbase some kind of hope to look forward to with the team.

5. Jalen Green is an All-Star:  My last unique prediction is probably a longshot but hear me out. Somehow, someway Rockets young stud Jalen Green will find his way into the all-star game this year. Green will benefit from playing alongside Fred VanVleet under the coaching of Ime Udoka will ascend Green’s value and stature enough to get him a spot of the western conference all-star ballot this year.
