The NBA finals are underway and should be an interesting series to watch especially for both teams coming off very intense, physical series. So here are my prediction for who will win the Larry O’Brien trophy.
#3 Golden State Warriors vs. #2 Boston Celtics: The Warriors vs. Celtics is a match up of similar styles and philosophies between coaches Steve Kerr and Ime Udoka who once were on the San Antonio Spurs coaching staff under coaching great Gregg Popovich. The Celtics coming off one of the more physical series of the postseason against the Miami Heat look to complete their mid season turnaround with a title over the seasoned Golden State Warriors who had a rather quick series against the Dallas Mavericks.
This series will come down to x factors and role players being consistent in this series. This should be the series where Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown comes through and is the crucial part in Boston winning the title. But the Warriors are well experienced and could use that to win another championship but the lack of depth will be the reason why they lose the series. With that being said I’m going with the Boston Celtics to win the series and championship in 6 games. This should be a great finale to a rather surprising great NBA season, but it will end with the Celtics hoisting up their 18th NBA title.
