Ben Simmons is one of the most promising talents in basketball but after an embarrassing exit to the Atlanta Hawks with an unacceptable shooting performance throughout the series has Simmons under major scrutiny.  So, what is next for Simmons as well as what is best for Simmons? Here are a couple of ideas that hopefully will make Simmons the superstar he’s capable of being.

A change of scenery: It may be no secret that Ben Simmons days in Philadelphia are over, but this could be a good thing! The relationship between him and other 76er star center Joel Embiid wasn’t the best along with the philosophy of the team it’s best that Simmons goes to a new team.

Shooting, shooting and more shooting: The obvious issue is Simmons’ shooting woes and yips. So, this summer since he declined to play for the Australian national team in the summer games which could of probably helped him, then working in empty gyms or with a shooting coach is game plan for Simmons. Hopefully Simmons pairs up with elite shooting coaches like Chip Engelland, Dave Hopla or Chris Brinkley who will fix Simmons issues.

A Team to call His Own: This tie together with the change in scenery topic but Ben Simmons being the centerpiece or one the foundation pieces to a new game will do wonders for him. Simmons is an exceptional point forward who can create in transition for others which is why he was a main piece in a potential James Harden trade to start the season.

But now things are different but Simmons with the right coach, system and franchise can be a franchise guy for a team willing to build their roster around him and his talents. Expect Simmons to be on the move this summer hopefully to Golden State, Portland, Chicago or hopefully Toronto (Fingers crossed).
