Continuing my top 10 series shooting guards. This list maybe one of the easier ones since we know or agree on who is #1 on this list, so I’m going to do this list in reverse. With that said here is the #1 shooting guard of all-time.

#1 Michael Jordan: Considered the greatest of all-time, Michael Jordan is our number shooting guard of all-time without question. Jordan revolutionized the game and his influence is felt throughout the basketball world to this day.
6x NBA champion, 6x Finals MVP, 5x MVP, 14x all-star, 10x scoring champion, 11x all NBA, 9x all defense, 3x all-star game MVP and 1984-85 rookie of the year, along with averaging 30 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals while shooting 50% from the field, 33% from three and 84% from the free throw line makes Jordan the greatest shooting guard of all-time.
#2 Kobe Bryant: Kobe Bryant maybe considered the greatest L.A. Lakers of all-time and one of the best players of this century, but is the second on this list. Some people would put Bryant number one because his amazing run in the 2000s, which included the famous 81 point game in 2006.
Bryant’s awards and accolades go as followed: 18x all-star, 5x NBA champion, 12x all defense, 4x all-star game MVP, 2007-08 MVP, 2x scoring champion, 15x all NBA,2x finals MVP and being the first laker in history to have 2 numbers (8 & 24) retired. Bryant averaged 25 points,5 rebounds, 5 assists per game and shooting 45% from the field,33% from three and 84% from the free throw line making Bryant one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history and #2 on the list.

#3 Dwayne Wade: Dwayne Wade was one of the more exciting players in the century and is possibly the greatest player in Miami Heat team history. Wade was a 13x all-star, 3x NBA champion, 3x all defense, 2009-10 all-star game MVP, 2008-09 scoring champion, 8x all NBA and final MVP. For his career, Wade averaged 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists while shooting 48% from the field, 29% from three and 77% from the free throw line making him a top 5 all-time shooting guard.

#4 Jerry West: “The Logo” Jerry West is next on the list and was the face of the Lakers for Decades as a player and front office figure. West was one of the first “Clutch” performance players in NBA history. West is a hall of famer who was a 14x all-star, 12x all NBA, 1971-72 all-star game MVP, 1969-70 scoring champion, 5x all defense, 1971-72 NBA champion and the only finals MVP on the losing team . West was one of the original long range shooters and clutch players and deserves his spot on the list.

#5 Allen Iverson: Allen Iverson is the greatest little man type player in NBA history. Iverson transcended an entire generation with incredible play throughout his career. Fearless and defiant are the perfect words to describe his career. An 11x all-star, 4x scoring champion, 7x all NBA, 2x all-star game MVP, 2000-01 MVP and 1996-97 rookie of the year made him a hall of famer along with averaging 27 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals while shooting 43% from the field, 31% from three and 78% from the free throw line for his career makes his career one of the more exciting ones in NBA history.
