With the NBA finals underway it’s only appropriate to do my predictions of who will win the Larry O’Brien trophy. The Warriors vs. The Raptors is going to be a versatile match up that will acquire a lot adjustments and strategy.
Both teams are well coached and have solid core group of players, but it will come down to rust and experience from the Warriors vs. Momentum and being the underdog for the Raptors.
Add to this the question of will Warriors star Kevin Durant play this series and when? And on the Raptors side the questions are Does Kawhi Leonard have enough to win the finals? A lot to be answered this series.
As much as I want to be objective and down the middle, I am going with my heart and will say the Raptors will win the series and the finals in 7 games.
The defense Toronto plays will be an issue for the Warriors and I think the Warriors will beat themselves as well to give the Raptors their first championship.
This will be an entertaining series and refreshing because it won’t be another Warriors vs. Cavs finals (sorry LeBron) and is an opportunity for new stars to emerge on a big stage and showcase the best league in sports.
